BlueCielo Meridian REFSYS 2012 Configuration Guide | BlueCielo ECM Solutions |
All error messages, log text, and other text settings are stored in a table named _Messages in the vault configuration.
Messages can accept optional parameters. In each text message, place the markers %1, %2, %3, and so on where these parameters should be used. The value of the parameters is given in the description of each text message in the table. The use of parameters in messages is considered obsolete in Meridian; instead VBScript code insertions should be used.
Only when no parameters have been defined for a message, VBScript code can be used. The syntax of the VBScript code is <%your code here%>. Examples can be found in the _Messages table. In most cases, the VBScript code is simple, such as <%document.filename%> to represent the filename. However, in special cases, predefined variables can be used that have been declared in the VBScript code.
